Microfinance Bank of Azerbaijan opens its new branch.


Baku, January 25,2007. On January 24, 2007 a new license has been received for opening a new branch of MFBA named Sabail. The next branch of MFBA is situated in the centre of Baku city, in 15 Rasul Rza, the area of Malakan garden.
MFBA now has seven branches (Central Branch, 20th January, Khalglar Dostlugu, Airport, Azadlig, Elmler Akademiyasi, Sabail) in Baku and four (Sumgait, Ganja, Sheki, Lenkoran) in regions. After opening of the new branch, the number of branches has reached 11. The opening of more 2 branches is being planned.
"Opening of one more branch is a systematic work on the increase of our branch network and presenting of bank services of a high quality to the population. The new branch is in the center of Baku and will work as retail branch, i.e. it will offer all spectrums of operational services: fast international and domestic money transfers, opening of current accounts and service of VISA plastic cards, deposits, etc. By the way, clients now can make a use of the services of our bank on Saturdays as well ", said the General Manger of MFBA, Dr. Andrew Pospielovsky.
MFBA is owned by five international organisations, including the BSTDB, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Finance Corporation, KfW Development Bank and LFS Financial Systems.
